Elite Academy Raises Over 10k For St Pauls Soccer

Today we are delighted to announce we have hit a milestone in our support of soccer in the St Pauls community.

With the participation of boys ages 12-18, and now entering our first year with the Elite Academy U18 Girls, we have finally hit the 10k mark.

With the most recent registrations of the girls for the U18 Elite Academy, we have now officially raised over $10,000 dollars in revenue towards helping grow the game of soccer in the St. Pauls community.

Since November 22nd 2014 with the St Pauls High School boys and girls Alumni Game, we have raised a total of $10,633 and spent over $9809.25 on soccer for our Elite Academy participants and the St. Pauls High School boys and girls soccer teams.

Our revenues have come from a variety of sources, such as player registrations, Alumni Games, Red Springs vs. St. Pauls Alumni Games, Fish Fry's, and our Friends of Soccer Membership drives that allow members free admission to all home matches during the 2015/2016 school year.

We've raised enough money and purchased BOTH the St Pauls High School boys and girls soccer team's complete kits, including new jerseys, shorts, socks, and goalkeeper equipment.  We've also raised enough to purchase over 20 balls, sets of cones, match balls by Nike, and scrimmage vests for the boys and girls soccer teams.  Money has been raised to fund field maintenance, including fertilizers and topdressing sand for the practice soccer field.

We've also used some of the raised money to help sponsor players to participate in the Powerade State games and other various college ID camps through scholarship.

Other monies have been spent in the travel leagues that the boys and girls play in, such as registration fees, referee fees, and coaching salaries for the coaches that help the boys and girls Elite Academy teams in league play.

We are proud of the strides that we are making for soccer in the St. Pauls community and we look forward to helping players continue to grow and the sport continue to grow in our area.

We have achieved a great deal in the year that we have been in St. Pauls and we look forward to continuing that hard work ethic.  Without the support of the families of players, alumni, and current players, we wouldn't have all the things that we have for our high school soccer team.  We are very proud to say that we are a group that have built ourselves, and we will continue this growth on until 2016/2017 and beyond.
